Pour le mois d'août, StampINKspiration vous propose de (re)sortir vos papiers design et de vous amuser avec ! Je vous propose une petite plongée dans les étoiles, plus que jamais de saison avec jusqu'à demain soir, les Nuits des étoiles, un peu partout dans l'hémisphère nord !

For the month of August, StampINKspiration wants you to (re)get out your design papers and have some fun with them! Let's take a look at the stars, which are more in season than ever with Star Nights taking place all over the northern hemisphere until tomorrow evening!

Nous sommes au meilleur moment pour observer les Perséides, les pluies d'étoiles filantes si connues des amateurs. Donc, j'ai sorti mon papier design tellement aimé du moment pour remplacer les télescopes et m'évader moi aussi, vers les corps célestes !
Bien, il existe des taaaaaaaaaaas de motifs et de papiers designs différents, certains faux unis sur lesquels vous pouvez ajouter des motifs aux tampons, des papiers - comme certains de cette collection - où l'on peut récupérer des motifs, etc.
Le papier design avant tout, c'est un bon moyen de créer rapidement des projets puisqu'il n'y a nul besoin de technique. J'aime les cartes techniques très compliquées mais c'est aussi très agréable d'utiliser un papier qui nous simplifie la vie.
Le problème avec le papier design, c'est que souvent - dans mon cas - je les trouve si jolis que je n'ose pas les couper et ils prennent la poussière dans un coin. Ca vous arrive aussi ? J'espère que je vais vous convaincre de vous lancer !

It's the perfect time to observe the Perseids, the showers of shooting stars so familiar to amateurs. So I've got out my favourite designer paper of the moment to replace the telescopes and escape to the celestial bodies too!
Well, there are so many different designs and design papers out there, some of them faux plain on which you can add designs to the stamps, some papers - like some in this collection - on which you can pick up designs, and so on.
Above all, design paper is a good way of creating projects quickly, because you don't need any technique. I like very complicated technical cards but it's also very nice to use a paper that makes life easier.
The problem with design paper is that often - in my case - I find them so pretty that I don't dare cut them and they gather dust in a corner. Does that happen to you too? I hope I can persuade you to take the plunge!

Oh là là... ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas autant crée pour un saut... Toutes mes excuses, une fois lancée, difficile de m'arrêter.

J'ai choisi les fonds stellaires de la collection Vers les étoiles, de Stampin Up ! pour mes trois créations et les dominantes bleues, que j'aime d'amour - mais bien entendu, vous pouvez choisir d'autres papiers designs -

Donc, j'ai choisi deux papiers, l'un à dominante nuit étoilée, le second avec une galaxie bleutée - pour être honnête, ce sont des papiers dans lesquels j'avais déjà coupé un peu, c'est plus facile comme ça ^^ - En ajoutant du papier Holographique, du bleu nuit, du noir et du blanc, voilà tout ce que j'ai utilisé. On va détailler tout ça si vous êtes d'accord ^^.

Oh dear... yes, it's been a long time since I've created so much for a jump... My apologies, once I got going it was hard to stop.

I chose the stellar backgrounds from the Vers les étoiles collection by Stampin Up! for my three creations and the dominant blues, which I love - but of course, you can choose other design papers - so I chose two papers, one with a blue background and one with a blue background.

So I chose two papers, one with a starry night theme, the second with a bluish galaxy - to be honest, these were papers I'd already cut a bit of, it's easier that way ^^ - Adding some Holographic paper, midnight blue, black and white, that's all I used. We'll go into more detail if you agree ^^.

Ok pour la première carte, c'est très facile. J'ai utilisé un design très simple. Juste découpé une bande de papier nuit étoilée et ajouté un tampon Astronaute et un vœu. Vous pouvez très bien faire pareil avec d'autres papiers design. 

Par exemple, si vous avez un papier rayures ou un papier feuillages, choisissez un tampon feuillage et un vœu coordonné. C'est vraiment rapide et facile à réaliser en grandes quantités.

Bien entendu, j'ai varié les textures en travaillant avec du papier holographique, ça ajoute de l'effet et aussi en ajoutant des ornements, des perles métallisées. C'est très important d'ajouter ce genres d'éléments, c'est ce qui fait toute la différence même si honnêtement, le papier est tellement fabuleux que même sens, vous aurez un WOW assuré ^^.

OK for the first card, it's very easy. I used a very simple design. Just cut a strip of starry night paper and added an Astronaut stamp and a wish. You can do the same with other design papers. 

For example, if you have a stripe paper or a foliage paper, choose a foliage stamp and a matching wish. It's really quick and easy to make in large quantities.

Of course, I varied the textures by working with holographic paper, which adds effect, and also by adding ornaments and metallic beads. It's very important to add these kinds of elements, it's what makes all the difference, although to be honest, the paper is so fabulous that even when you smell it, you'll get a guaranteed WOW ^^.

Pour la seconde, c'est déjà un petit peu plus élaboré. Pour cette carte, j'ai travaillé sur deux étages et joué avec les pastilles 3D. J'ai commencé par un fond noir pour ma base de carte, puis j'ai découpé un grand morceau de papier design Nuit étoilée, que j'ai percé avec un grand cercle.

Sous ce cercle, et sur le fond noir - j'ai collé un rectangle légèrement plus grand que mon cercle découpé dans un second papier design. C'est trop joli non ???

Bref,... Sur ce rectangle, j'ai ajouté des sequins et des étoiles. Puis j'ai collé en 3D par-dessus, mon fond Nuit étoilé.

Disgression : Vous pouvez réaliser des fonds étoilées en combinant brosses à estompes, tampons étoiles, etc mais honnêtement, ce papier est si magnifique et rend les choses tellement plus rapides et faciles que j'ai cédé sans aucun remord.

J'ai terminé par mon vœu, initialement c'est une seule phrase en ligne. J'ai repris plusieurs fois le premier mot et découpé chaque partie aux ciseaux pour obtenir quelque chose de plus "fun". Bien entendu, j'ai aussi ajouté différents ornements pour encore plus de scintillement ^^.

The second is a little more elaborate. For this card, I worked on two levels and played with the 3D pastilles. I started with a black background for my card base, then cut out a large piece of Starry Night design paper, which I pierced with a large circle.

Under this circle, and on top of the black background - I stuck a rectangle slightly larger than my circle cut from a second piece of designer paper. It's so pretty, isn't it?

Anyway... I added sequins and stars to this rectangle. Then I stuck my starry Night background on top in 3D.

Disgression: You can make starry backgrounds using a combination of stamping brushes, star stamps, etc but honestly, this paper is so gorgeous and makes things so much quicker and easier that I gave in without any remorse.

I finished with my wish, initially it's just one sentence in a row. I went back to the first word several times and cut out each part with scissors to get something more 'fun'. Of course, I also added various ornaments for even more sparkle ^^.

Enfin pour cette troisième carte… Je pense que ça va vous plaire. En créant la carte précédente, je me suis trompée et j'ai découpé un cercle au lieu d'un rectangle dans mon papier de fond bleu galaxie. Je me suis donc retrouvée avec un cercle qui traînait…

J'ai décidé de l'utiliser dans ce dernier projet, une bonne manière de ne rien jeter - ce qui serait dommage avec un si joli papier, non ? - 

Comme pour la première carte, le sketch est simple. Un fond Bleu nuit et deux bandes blanches entourant un papier étoilé. Ensuite, j'ai découpé des planètes de différentes tailles dans mes chutes de papier galaxie bleue. Comme il y a un dégradé dans le papier, il est facile d'obtenir des planètes plus ou moins visibles… ou simplement, plus ou moins éclairées par le soleil ^^.

J'ai aussi ajouté des anneaux holographiques. Bon pour être franche, j'ai toujours été fascinée par les anneaux - même si en réalité, je sais aujourd'hui qu'ils n'existent pas vraiment en tant que tels mais hein - et j'avais envie d'une planète avec des anneaux.

Finally for this third card... I think you'll like it. When I was creating the previous card, I made a mistake and cut out a circle instead of a rectangle in my blue galaxy background paper. So I ended up with a circle lying around...

I decided to use it in this latest project, a good way of not throwing anything away - which would be a shame with such pretty paper, wouldn't it? - 

As with the first card, the design is simple. A Midnight Blue background and two white stripes surrounding a star paper. Then I cut out planets of different sizes from my scraps of blue galaxy paper. As there's a gradient in the paper, it's easy to get planets that are more or less visible... or simply, more or less lit by the sun ^^.

I've also added holographic rings. To be honest, I've always been fascinated by rings - even though I now know that they don't really exist as such, but eh - and I wanted a planet with rings.

Sur certaines planètes j'ai aussi ajouté de la texture avec un poinçon du lot Vers les étoiles coordonné à la collection de Papier. L'important ici, pour qu'on voit bien vos planètes, c'est de bien jouer sur les hauteurs. Toutes mes planètes sont collées en 3D pour ressortir du fond étoilé plus facilement et comme elles sont dégradées, en les plaçant bien les unes par rapport aux autres et en les faisant déborder du cadre, l'effet est encore meilleur.

Et voilà pour ma façon de jouer avec le papier design. Je ne sais pas si je vous ai inspiré mais en tout cas, je me suis bien amusée ! N'oubliez pas d'aller regarder les créations de toute la fabuleuse troupe en commençant par Mo Rootes !

On some planets I've also added texture with a punch from the Towards the Stars pack, coordinated with the Papier collection. The important thing here, so that we can see your planets clearly, is to play on the heights. All my planets are glued in 3D to make them stand out from the starry background more easily, and as they're gradient, by placing them well in relation to each other and making them overflow the frame, the effect is even better.
