Hello !!

Ce mois-ci Angie nous a proposé de créer une carte à partir d'un sketch. Pour moi, c'est toujours une aventure. Parfois je suis très inspirée par le sketch, parfois pas du tout.

Pour celui-ci, ça s'est fait tellement facilement, que je trouve ça louche ^^. Je vous propose de découvrir tout de suite le résultat... et surtout le sketch !

This month Angie asked us to create a card based on a sketch. For me, it's always an adventure. Sometimes I'm really inspired by the sketch, sometimes not at all.

With this one, it was so easy that I find it a bit suspicious ^^. I invite you to discover the result... and especially the sketch!

Aujourd'hui, pour mes projets, j'ai utilisé intégralement la collection Os Courts de Stampin'Up !

Pour ma carte, j'ai commencé par découper des bandes de papier design Chauve-souris du DSP Os Courts de 2 cm de large. J'ai rajouté une bordure noire pour qu'il ressorte plus et décidé de coller ces bandes en 3D. Par dessus, j'ai utilisé le lot Bag Of Bones de Stampin'Up ! toujours pour reprendre la forme de maison. Sauf qu'il s'agit ici d'une entrée de tombeau mais soit, c'est aussi une maison - de repos éternel mais de repos tout de même - et par dessus, dessous et autour, j'ai ajouté des pierres tombales colorées d'un autre morceau de papier design pour animer un peu tout ça.

C'était vraiment très amusant de jouer avec ce papier en fait. Bien, j'ai un humour un peu glauque, je sais mais cette collection me fait tellement penser à Beetlejuice ou à l'Etrange Noël de Mr Jack que forcément...

Today, for my projects, I used the entire Os Courts collection from Stampin'Up!

For my card, I started by cutting 2cm wide strips of Bats design paper from the Os Courts DSP. I added a black border to make it stand out more and decided to glue these strips in 3D. On top, I used the Bag Of Bones pack from Stampin'Up! to repeat the house shape. Except that this is the entrance to a tomb, but it's also a house - of eternal rest, but restful all the same - and on top, underneath and around it, I added coloured tombstones from another piece of designer paper to liven things up a bit.

It was really fun to play with the paper, actually. Well, I've got a bit of a creepy sense of humour, I know, but this collection reminds me so much of Beetlejuice or Mr Jack's Strange Christmas that it's inevitable...

Ensuite, le squelette et le chat sont aussi découpés dans le papier. J'ai la collection, alors autant l'utiliser le plus possible, sinon je vais encore me retrouver avec en décembre et à Noël, mon humour ne serait pas apprécié à sa juste valeur...

Par dessus tout cela, j'ai ajouté mon vœu, embossé en or, parce qu'Halloween, c'est quand même une fête. Et j'ai terminé par quelques ornements phosphorescents découpés dans le papier du même nom ou directement les ornements Chauve-souris et Fantômes de la gamme.

Voilà voilà, c'est une carte qui a beaucoup de volume, les bandes, le tombeau, le squelette, afin que chaque élément ressorte correctement. J'espère que ça vous plaît !

The skeleton and cat are also cut out of the paper. I've got the collection, so I might as well use it as much as possible, otherwise I'll end up with more of it in December, and at Christmas my humour won't be fully appreciated...

On top of all that, I added my wish, embossed in gold, because Halloween is still a holiday. And I finished off with a few glow-in-the-dark ornaments cut from the paper of the same name or directly from the Bats and Ghosts ornaments in the range.

So there you have it, it's a card with a lot of volume, the bands, the tomb, the skeleton, so that each element stands out properly. I hope you like it!
